Environmental Initiatives


A key component of Bear Creek Community Charter School's is the cultivation of environmental stewardship, and one of the School's core values is to teach children about their inherent responsibility to respect the environment and use them as a conduit to help others do the same. Environmental education teaches children and adults how to learn about and investigate their environment, and to make intelligent, informed decisions about how they can take care of it. Learn More



Field Trips


Field trips in the formative years are one of the most important things teachers can provide for their students. As we all know, children learn by doing. They remember what they have personally experienced. Bear Creek Community Charter School students are provided with multiple field trip opportunities that enrich the School's curriculum and are a privilege initially offered to all students. Bully Prevention


Providing a safe and bully-free atmosphere is important for student learning. Even with the school's best efforts, bullying can affect the safety and well being of the entire student population. Team Program


Bear Creek Community Charter School utilizes a School Wide Positive Behavior Support System to encourage and acknowledge appropriate behaviors in all school settings. National Junior Honor Society


The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization, established to recognize outstanding middle level students. Learn More



Team Council


The overall function of the Team Council is to give the student body a voice in the operation of Bear Creek Community Charter School. Council members are elected by their peers. Members of the Team Council research, discuss, and recommend positive changes in support of school-wide success. Learn More



Kindergarten Camp


Jumpstart Kindergarten Camp is a two-week week summer program for incoming (new) kindergarten students. This program will enable selected students to receive instruction on pre-kindergarten skills so they can be successful in the kindergarten classroom when school begins in August. Learn More



School Improvement Team


Bear Creek Community Charter School believes in continuous improvement. The School Improvement Team provides an opportunity for staff, parents and students to play a role in the betterment of the School. Learn More
